Get ready for outdoor adventures with the
Jersey Shore Council
Just think about all the things you can do with the Jersey Shore Council Boy Scouts of America, like participate in NJ day camps, summer recreation programs, crafts, field trips, family camping weekends, and more!
Do you know that some Scouts go backpacking in the New Mexico wilderness? Or go hiking on historic trails across the United States? Or that qualified Boy Scouts can learn about the special skills, equipment, and safety precautions needed to scuba dive? Oh, yeah! There’s a lot more to being a boy scout than just attending NJ day camps!
It’s really easy to join Boy Scouts. You just need to be the right age (11-17) and get your parents’ permission. (If you’re only 10 you may join if you’ve received the Arrow of Light Award or have finished the fifth grade.)
