Boy Scouts of America is more than just fun activities at our summer camps in NJ. Being a Scout provides life experiences through our events and recreational activities for children to gain self-confidence, build character and help youth formulate positive personal values. A Boy Scout uses self-reliance and his ability to help others while building leadership skills. COMMUNITY SERVICE
Good Turn for AmericaGood Turn for America is a national call to service by the Boy Scouts of America that will help provide adequate food and shelter and to develop good health habits in our nation. They collaborate with some of the most respected service organizations, and thousands of other local groups, to provide volunteer opportunities for youth and adults to fight hunger, provide shelter, and teach the habits of healthy living.
OUTREACH RESOURCES
American Indian Scouting Association (AISA)AISA conducts an annual seminar hosted by a local tribe or American Indian community. This seminar attracts both Indian and non-Indian representatives from Boy Scout and Girl Scout councils across the country. The American Indian Scouting Association and its seminar is a joint venture with the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the USA.
Interamerican Scout FoundationThe
Interamerican Scout Foundation is composed of a region of national Scout associations that are recognized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement and located in North America, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Scouting - Vale La PenaScouting - Vale La Pena is the official Spanish-language Web site of the Boy Scouts of America.
